After six months of comparing solar battery options, I finally installed a 13.5-kWh home energy storage system alongside my existing rooftop panels. I did have one minor troubleshooting moment in the first week. After a brief internet outage, the monitoring app showed “offline,” although the battery was still operating normally. I power-cycled the gateway, waited ten minutes, and the status returned. I learned that the app connection is not the same thing as battery operation, which saved me from calling support unnecessarily.
After six months, my favorite feature is quiet automation: solar charges first, the battery covers evening demand, and the grid fills gaps only when necessary. It feels genuinely practical, not especially flashy.
