Since then, I check the app once a week rather than obsessing over every percentage. For me, the biggest benefit is not just backup power; it is using my own clean solar energy later, when electricity costs the most.
The system has made our solar investment feel practical instead of theoretical, and I would choose battery storage again. I especially appreciate knowing that a sunny afternoon can cover our evening demand instead of simply lowering the utility company's workload. It feels like a small, steady improvement every day.
