The transfer was quick enough that our Wi-Fi router never rebooted, and I only noticed because the kitchen lights stayed on. I had worried that backup mode would drain the pack too quickly, but the monitoring app showed we still had 68% remaining. That gave me more confidence than the marketing brochures did.

I have had one minor annoyance: during a firmware update, the app briefly displayed zero percent even though the inverter was operating normally. I waited, restarted the gateway, and the reading returned after about ten minutes. The installer later explained that the dashboard had lost communication, not that the solar battery was empty.

For me, the value is not just energy independence. It is shifting solar energy into the hours when electricity costs the most for us.
