I checked the disconnect switch, restarted the monitoring gateway, and waited about ten minutes. The reading corrected itself, and the battery was actually fine. Customer support confirmed it was a display issue, not lost capacity.

The best practical benefit is quieter bill management. I no longer need to think about shifting every appliance away from peak hours. The solar battery does that automatically, while also providing useful backup power during short outages.
