The only hiccup came during a firmware update. The battery stopped discharging for one evening, and the app showed an unhelpful warning. I power-cycled the inverter, checked the manual, and contacted the installer. They remotely finished the update, and the system returned to normal the next day. I appreciated that troubleshooting was handled remotely, although I wish the error message had been clearer.

One practical lesson: compare battery prices carefully, not just the advertised capacity. I searched “lithium iron batteries for sale” before buying, but eventually chose a local installer with a longer warranty and monitoring support. For my house, reliable battery backup and peak-hour savings mattered more than squeezing out the lowest upfront price. Now I trust the system every evening, especially in winter.
