What I appreciate most is the quiet routine: solar power fills the battery while I work, and stored energy runs the home when rates are highest. I still pull electricity from the grid during cloudy stretches, so I am not pretending to be energy independent. For me, though, this lithium battery has made solar noticeably more useful and our evening power costs much easier to manage.
