Running my home on stored solar power has changed the way I think about electricity bills.

It is not a magical zero bill, but peak-hour savings are easy to see.
I also noticed the battery stays quiet, with only a soft fan when working hard. I check state of charge once or twice a week, not obsessively. For me, the value is simple: solar energy storage lets me use more of my own electricity.
