The savings are not dramatic every month, but they are consistent enough to justify the purchase for us.
The practical detail I appreciate most is the app. I can check state of charge before bed, and I quickly learned that a cloudy afternoon changes the schedule. During one particularly rainy week, the battery reached its reserve sooner than expected. I raised the backup reserve from 20% to 35%, so we would keep more for outages. That small adjustment meant less evening savings, but it made me more comfortable about keeping essential loads running.
Installation was straightforward, though the electrician spent extra time checking the main panel and explaining load priorities. I now avoid running the oven, heat pump, and clothes dryer together after sunset; the battery is capable, but not magical.
After several months, I am happiest with the routine rather than the headline capacity. Solar self-consumption is higher, peak-hour grid dependence is lower, and our home has a little more resilience. If I expanded the system, I would add another battery.
