The app also helped me spot that our freezer was cycling more than expected; replacing its door seal saved battery energy.

I am not off-grid, and I still buy power during winter stretches. Still, solar battery storage has made our consumption calmer and bills more predictable. That’s the upgrade I notice month—not when the power goes out.
