Very quickly, my electricity bill became easier to predict monthly. After that, I stopped worrying about expensive evening consumption nearly. Since then, I glance at the app every few days. It shows solar production, battery state of charge, and household demand. I do not obsess over numbers, but trends help me adjust. For example, I postpone laundry when clouds are forecast tomorrow. That leaves enough battery capacity for the evening cooking and heating.
Noise has also been minimal; I barely hear the inverter. Maintenance so far means keeping panels clear and checking cable connections. I have not needed a generator, and outages feel less stressful. It is about using solar energy instead of buying it.
