I had installed the unit in a shaded garage, but the garage still became warmer than I expected. I cleaned the ventilation area, checked the cable connections, and added a small circulating fan. The warning disappeared that evening, and charging resumed the next morning. I also changed the inverter settings so the battery keeps a small reserve instead of draining completely.

That reserve has been surprisingly helpful during brief outages; I still have lights and internet while the grid comes back. I originally searched for a “12v lithium high temperature” battery because I was comparing backup options, but my installed home storage system is a higher-voltage setup managed by the inverter.
