At 135mm thin and 41kg, the Thor 5000 defies every assumption about home battery storage being heavy and hard to install. Optional 201 stainless steel upgrade for coastal and humid environments.

The Thor 5000 ships with CAN bus pre-configured for Victron Energy and RS485 pre-configured for Growatt inverters. Grab a Victron Type A CAN cable or a standard Cat5e RJ45 patch cable, connect, and the 51.2V LiFePO4 battery is live — no protocol converters, no manual DIP-switch translation tables. And if your inverter doesn’t communicate at all? The JK-BMS runs independently, managing the battery without external input.

The Gobel Power Thor 5000 is a premium 5.1kWh (51.2V) LiFePO4 battery designed for off-grid, on-grid, and backup systems. It delivers 6,000 cycles at 80% DoD and 3,000 cycles at 100% DoD to 80% SoH. Featuring a smart 100A JK-Inverter BMS (JK_PB1A16S10P V19), it provides 1A active cell balancing to dynamically maximize health and capacity. For seamless integration, CAN communication is set for Victron Energy by default and RS485 is set for Growatt by default. Parallel communication supports up to 32 units via RS485 I/II ports.
