Cell Grade:
In our system, Grade HSEV>LSEV>ESS.
Grade HSEV are the best quality cells, which are sold in EVE official shop. HSEV cells have strict matching standard, so price is pretty high.
EVE sell ESS cells to distributor such as Gobel Power. These cells are the second best quality cells you can get in the market.
Gobel Power do some tests and group better matching cells toghter, these are LSEV cells. LSEV cells have better matching standards than ESS cells.
If not all, 99% distributors have only ESS grade cells, no matter how they call these cells, Grade A+ or Grade A, they are ESS cells.
To discriminate HSEV cells from ESS cells, EVE starts to print B Mark on ESS cells, these cells are same as Intact QR cells, The only difference is QR.
Why EVE do it? In previous months, some distributors claim their cells are HSEV cells, but actually they are ESS cells. At that moment, Both HSEV and ESS cells have Intact QR, the only difference is HSEV cells have official testing report (Excel or Paper format), but testing report is easy to counterfeit, so EVE starts to print B Mark on all ESS cells.

We test all cells before shipping, including Voltage, Internal resistance and Capacity.
Normal shipping method is sea freight, railway and air freight. Sea freight and railway will take about 1-2 months, air freight can be less than 15 days. All shipping method is door to door delivery.
Cell Quality and Replacement:
LSEV and ESS grade cells are not top-quality cells, they may have various problems, but most work well for energy storage. For LSEV cells, we will do some sorting and matching work before shipping, but it is not perfect. Common problems are:
Scratch or Tear on the Film: The blue plastic film provides protection and isolation during storage and transportation. A minor scratch or tear on the film should not affect the performance of the cell. We make an effort to sort out cells with an inferior film, but we cannot guarantee that the film will be flawless.
Dent on Aluminum Shell: A small, smooth dent in the aluminum shell should not have a detrimental effect on the cell's performance or safety. However, we will only provide replacements for cells with a sharp dent or a torn shell.
Capacity: We will test the capacity for LSEV grade cells and discard cells with a nominal capacity lower than required. We will label the test result on the cell. If you perform a capacity test and obtain a slightly lower result than our test, this may be because the test result is affected by temperature, testing device, and current, particularly when using EBC testing devices, typically producing lower results.
Self-discharging Rate and Internal Resistance: Different cells have different self-discharging rates and internal resistances, especially LSEV and ESS grade cells. Rather than focusing on individual cell parameters, please consider the performance of the final pack. We will only provide a replacement if the self-discharging rate and internal resistance significantly impede pack performance.
