On the first week after installing my home battery, I kept checking the inverter app every few minutes like a nervous parent. The main lesson for me is that battery capacity and load timing matter more than chasing perfect solar production. Even on mediocre days, storing midday energy and using it during peak pricing gives my household useful savings. I would happily add another module later, but for now this setup feels like a sensible balance between resilience and lower electricity bills.
