Solution Solar Inverter
I installed a solar battery system last summer after watching my electricity bills climb during the evening peak. My panels already covered much of our daytime use, but after sunset we were buying expensive grid power for fans, lights, and the refrigerator.
Before choosing the setup, I compared inverter options, battery backup capacity, and the livguard 150ah battery price across several local dealers. I eventually went with a 150Ah tubular battery paired with a hybrid solar inverter. The installer finished the wiring in one afternoon, but I spent the next few days checking settings and learning the display.
The biggest practical difference is how I use stored energy. I set the inverter to charge from solar first and switch to battery in the evening, with grid backup only when the battery gets low. During the hottest months, this reduced my evening grid consumption noticeably. My monthly bill fell by roughly 20–25% compared with the previous summer, although I know the exact amount changes with weather and usage.
I did have one small troubleshooting moment. The battery stopped charging fully for two days, and I first suspected the solar panels. The inverter showed a low battery warning, so I checked the water level and found one cell slightly low. After topping it up with distilled water and cleaning a loose terminal, charging returned to normal.
Now I check the battery once a month, keep vents clear, and avoid running heavy appliances like the washing machine and microwave together at night. The backup has also been reassuring during short outages; lights and Wi-Fi stay on without interruption.
For me, savings matter more than marketing promises alone.
