Since then, I leave that reserve at 20%, which feels like a sensible compromise: enough for a short outage, but not so much that I waste the evening grid savings. The support technician also explained that my battery charger lithium settings were fine; the phrase "battery charger lithium" appeared in the equipment notes, and I initially thought it referred to a separate accessory. Actually, it described the lithium battery charging profile. This clarification prevented me from changing settings blindly.
Now I check the solar battery app once a week, and lower bills plus quiet backup make the system worthwhile every day.
