I found that the inverter had a conservative surge setting enabled. After lowering the setting within the manufacturer's recommended range, I tested it again and the fridge started normally. That small troubleshooting lesson mattered more to me than flashy specifications: real loads have startup demands that are easy to overlook.

For anyone comparing a home energy storage setup, I would prioritize usable capacity, inverter surge performance, and clear monitoring over an impressive headline capacity.
