I did not even notice until my neighbor texted asking whether our power was out. That moment made the solar battery feel like more than a bill-saving gadget.

I did have one minor troubleshooting issue. The app showed the battery offline after a router update. The battery itself was still working, but I could not check its state remotely. Rebooting the inverter and reconnecting Wi-Fi fixed it in about ten minutes. I now keep the inverter manual nearby and check firmware updates before changing network settings.
