The Thor 5000 is a premium 5.1kWh (51.2V) Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery powered by REPT 100Ah cells. The unit features a robust steel enclosure (with an optional 201 stainless steel version) and an IP20 protection rating, providing reliable energy storage support for off-grid, grid-tied, and backup power applications.

Default Communication Settings

CAN Port:

1. Default protocol: Victron Energy

2. Use a Victron Type A CAN cable

3. Connect the cable to the battery and GX device

4. Master battery uses DIP address 0

5. Battery can function without inverter communication

6. Settings can be changed with JK-BMS Monitor or JK-BMS App

7. App password: 0000

8. Settings password: 000000

9. Remote monitoring example: Victron VRM Portal

10. Change settings at your own risk

RS485 Port:

1. Default protocol: Growatt

2. RS485 I and RS485 II are used for parallel battery communication

3. Daisy-chain batteries with standard Cat5e RJ45 patch cables

4. Both RS485 I and RS485 II have the same function

5. Up to 16 batteries via RS485 I and RS485 II ports

6. Up to 32 batteries with FW V19.31B or higher

7. Set DIP addresses according to the binary chart

8. Batteries can also be connected in parallel without communication

9. Maximum 4 parallel batteries without external fuse protection

10. Do not connect battery packs in series
